There’s no denying that LG’s G3 flagship smartphone is doing
exceptionally well in various markets all over the world. So the most logical
thing for LG to do would be to bring this winning formula to other products in
its lineup. Lo and behold, the Korean manufacturer announced two new phones
under its L-series.
The two models are meant for various emerging 3G markets and
are specifically made for new smartphone users and teens. The bigger 5.0-inch
model is called the L Bello and features a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of
RAM and 8GB of storage.
The Bello’s display has a resolution of 854x480 pixels
(~196ppi). The phone also comes with an 8MP rear camera, a 1MP front-facing
snapper and a 2540mAh battery.
Then there’s the smaller L Fino with a 4.5-inch IPS display
with WVGA resolution (800x480) and a pixel density of 207ppi. The phone also
comes with 1GB of RAM but has a lower storage capacity at 4GB.
The Fino has the same 8MP camera as the Bello but has a
downgraded front-facing VGA camera. The battery capacity has also been reduced,
which sits at 1900mAh. Both phones come in various color options including
white, black, gold (as well as green and red for the L Fino).
No word yet on pricing but LG says the phones will be
available within the month in different markets including Latin America, Asia,
and Europe.
