Huawei recently launched an affordable tablet with mid-range
specs but with above average build quality. Scheduled to go on sale later this
month in Europe, the Honor T1 sports an aluminum unibody that gives the tablet
a premium look despite its €130 price tag.
Specs-wise, the tablet sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chip
with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable memory. The
display measures 8 inches and has 720p resolution. There’s also a 5MP camera at
the back and VGA front-facing snapper located beside the front-facing speaker.
Power is supplied by a 4800mAh battery while connectivity goes
up to 3G only. The slate runs on Android 4.3 out of the box. There’s no word
yet on international availability.
