Yes, it’s another flagship phone alert. This time, it’s from
Sony with the Xperia Z4, the newest smartphone powerhouse from the Japanese
manufacturer.
Just like its predecessor,
the Z4 sports a 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution. It also comes with a
64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board
storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
There’s also a 20.7MP camera at the back with an Exmor RS
sensor complemented by a BIONZ image processor and a G Lens. The camera’s ISO range tops at 12800 allowing
the phone to capture images even in low-light conditions. Flipping the phone,
we’ve got a 5MP selfie snapper with wide-angle Exmor R sensor that has been
optimized to take self-portraits.
The new Z4 will also come with IP68 certification, meaning
it’s also dust and water resistant. Power is supplied by a 2930mAh battery,
which is non-removable, while Android 5.0 Lollipop will be the default software
installed on the device.
Sony has made the phone available initially in Japan, and we
don’t have any information yet on when it will be available in other markets
and how much it will cost.
